Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher with a strong specialization in Mathematics and the ability to teach Science for Grades 3 to 5 under the IGCSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should foster conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and a love for learning through engaging and student-centered teaching practices.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Mathematics (major subject) and Science aligned with the IGCSE framework
• Develop lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs and abilities
• Use innovative teaching strategies, including hands-on activities and technology integration
• Assess, record, and report student progress regularly
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Encourage inquiry-based learning and problem-solving skills
• Prepare students for internal and external assessments
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, coordinators, and parents
• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development programs
• Maintain classroom discipline and ensure student well-being
Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed.) and specialization in Mathematics / Science
• Experience teaching IGCSE / Cambridge curriculum preferred
• Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in primary grades
• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Proficiency in using digital tools and smart boards
• Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans
