Role Summary
Fit Futures is seeking an outstanding PDHPE Teacher to start straight away in Term 1 and Term 2!
As the newest member of Fit Futures, you will be joining our team of dedicated PDHPE and Primary School teachers to deliver enjoyable, engaging and fun lessons for children. Our staff are extremely committed to encouraging children to maintain a positive attitude, whilst constantly developing their skills and building confidence within their students.
Many of our programs are full-year programs, so you will be teaching the same classes and be working with the same students and teachers each week, all year. This will provide you with a real taste of school life, without the responsibility of full teaching staff duties and lengthy end of year reports to write.
This is an amazing opportunity to gain valuable teaching experience in a supportive, inclusive and fun team and organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing day-to-day teaching, learning and instruction.
Instructing students in the delivery of various physical education curriculum components
Implementing high quality age-appropriate lessons for primary school children.
Promotion of the Fit Futures Brand to grow the company.
Unlock students' true potential, preparing them for unlimited success.
Engage effectively with students, teaching staff, and colleagues, aligning with Fit Futures philosophy.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education
DET number
NESA Accreditation (Some positions require only NESA)
Availability during school hours of 8:30-3:30 pm
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Valid Working with Children Check
Eligibility to work in Australia
Punctuality and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Fun, energetic, thoughtful, and ambitious.
Preferred but not required:
Gymnastics/Athletics/FMS/Ball Skills teaching experience: 1 year
Level 1 or higher coaching accreditation in Gymnastics and Athletics particularly.
Driver's Licence and own transport
