The Opportunity
We are seeking two passionate, committed and reflective teachers to join our team in September to lead small KS2 classes. These roles are ideal for:
Mainstream teachers looking for their first step into specialist education
Experienced SEN practitioners ready to lead on Behaviour or take curriculum responsibility
Teachers who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of autistic children
Key Responsibilities
The postholder will:
Plan and deliver well-structured lessons aligned to the school’s curriculum, schemes of work and pupil EHCPs
Set high expectations to inspire, motivate and challenge learners
Assess, monitor, record, and report on individual progress
Adapt teaching approaches to meet the diverse strengths and needs of each pupil
Promote and ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils
Foster strong and supportive relationships with parents and carers, encouraging collaboration in learning
Implement school policies and contribute to our inclusive, positive school ethos
Work collaboratively with therapists, support staff and SLT to ensure high-quality provision
Take an active role in CPD and school improvement initiatives
