Primary Teacher
Location: Woodchurch, Ashford
Salary: £120 to £250 per day (depending on experience)
Start date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time, long-term
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to fill Class Teacher roles at one of our primary schools in Woodchurch, Ashford. This full-time, long-term position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a selection of classes from Year R to Year 6. The ideal Primary Teacher will have experience working in primary schools and must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Primary Teacher Responsibilities
• Teach and manage a variety of classes from Year R to Year 6.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Provide PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time.
• Work collaboratively with the deputy head for support and guidance.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing feedback and support to ensure their development.
Primary Teacher Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience working in primary schools as a class teacher.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to creating a supportive and nurturing learning environment.
