Job Description

St Joseph’s Primary School is situated in Warragul, Gippsland. Warragul is a thriving rural town set amongst rolling green hills and dairy fields, on the lands of the Gunaikurnai and Bunurong People. It is 102 kilometres south-east of Melbourne, accessible directly form the M1 freeway and lies between the Strzelecki Ranges to the south and Mount Baw Baw Plateau to the north. The town is the main population and service centre of the West Gippsland region and has a population of over 20,000.

Classroom Teacher: 1 x Full-time position

Period: Ongoing

Commencement Date: 28 January 2026



Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting student progress in key learning areas
Implementing strategies to achieve targets related to student learning outcomes.

VIT registration
Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School is an advantage.
