This role requires advanced technical skills in SQL Developer, SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, and .NET Core. You will be responsible for designing and developing robust applications that meet complex business needs, ensuring high performance, scalability, and adherence to industry’s best practices.
About the role
As a Principal .NET Developer, you will lead the development of enterprise-grade applications that support critical operations in the Transportation and Logistics sector. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure code quality through best practices. Your responsibilities include building secure, high-performing applications using .NET Core, optimizing database performance with advanced SQL techniques, and conducting thorough testing and debugging. This role offers an opportunity to combine hands-on development with technical leadership to deliver impactful solutions in a dynamic environment.

In this role, you will:
Design and develop robust applications using SQL Developer, SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, and .NET Core to meet business needs in the Transportation & Logistics domain.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Provide technical expertise in .NET Core, maintaining code quality and adherence to best practices across projects.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions.
Apply deep knowledge of database technologies and application development to optimize performance and scalability.

Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until December 14th , 2026.
The annual salary for this position is between $80,000 - $130,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
