Hiring for a Principal Site Reliability Engineer who has knowledge in programming ideally in golang and node to join my clients fully remote cybersecurity company.
This position is on the Developer Experience team and will be focused on paying off tech debt that was previously done and fixing issues, focused on deploying software what tools the team is using, untangling some tech stack choices, and helping teams to build out features on the platform themselves!
This team is highly integrated with all functions of all teams and you would be leading the charge to fix the old and build the new!
Tech Stack: Kubernetes, gRPC APIs, Golang, Node, Python Terraform, CI/CD, IoC, Docker, AWS, GCP
Location: 100% Remote U.S. Based Candidates
Compensation: $163-236,800 15% bonus paid out quarterly, 5000 stock options.
Must Haves:
• At least 8 years of experience with a combination of software development AND site reliability/devops experience
• Experience leading projects and teams
• Extensive experience in Kubernetes, CI/CD and IoC
• Experience with gRPC APIs
• Experience developing in golang and/or node
This company is a cyber security, established start up (Pre-IPO) that realized a few core issues with security.. Too many confusing security products delivering reams of alerts. Not enough security talent to prioritize the alerts and effectively manage the risk. MSSPs who had failed to deliver on their promises and there were no good solutions. Some companies were looking at MDR providers – but MDRs added a new expense without replacing MSSPs. Most customers were suffering in silence with no alternative. They use the security products clients have already bought and their analysts investigate alerts and monitor their environment. When we find a problem we tell you exactly what to do about it. They will also tell you how to fix the root cause of problems that happen over and over …that’s it! They offer a suite of their own products as well: MDR, Phishing related, Threat Hunting, Vulnerability Prioritization, Security Operations Platform.
