Spherion is hiring a Printing Press Assistant in Fairborn, Ohio!
You'll be responsible for assisting with machine set-up and overseeing proper machine operation!
If you're a dedicated machine operator with an eye for detail and a drive for success, we'd like to speak with you!
Responsibilities:
• Assist with machine set up
• Ensure the machine is running properly and efficiently at all times & follow production schedule
• Loading paper into machine and unloading paper from delivery section
• Inspect and examine product for quality
• Clear jams as needed
• Alert operator to any machine, safety, or material issues (monitor ink levels)
• Operate forklift to remove scape material
• Ability to meet production standards
• Record operational data on specified forms
• Communicate with supervisors, peers, or subordinates : provide information to supervisors and co-workers in written form or in person
• Maintain a good record of attendance and punctuality
• Learn all jobs / products performed within the department
• Perform tasks assigned using specific operating procedures, and following department specific quality control processes and procedures
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 AM
