Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and engaging Homeschool Teacher to provide in-person instruction for a middle school student in a private, one-on-one setting. Instruction will take place in a dedicated private space within a corporate office.
This role involves delivering broad academic instruction across core subjects, providing structure and accountability, and adapting lessons to the student’s learning style. This is a consistent, part-time role ideal for educators, homeschool instructors, or private teachers seeking ongoing work.
Responsibilities
Deliver instruction across core middle school subjects (Math, Language Arts, Science, Social Studies)
Plan and organize lessons aligned with homeschool goals
Provide academic structure, guidance, and accountability
Monitor progress and adjust instruction as needed
Encourage strong study habits, organization, and critical thinking
Communicate regularly with parents regarding progress and learning needs
Provide your own instructional materials and lesson planning
Qualifications
Prior experience as a homeschool teacher, private educator, or tutor
Strong understanding of middle school curriculum
Ability to teach across multiple subject areas
Patient, adaptable, and structured teaching approach
Reliable and professional, with the ability to work in person
California teaching credential preferred but not required
Homeschool experience strongly preferred
Schedule
3–4 days per week - Monday-Friday
Starting out 4 hours per day
Additional Information
Instruction is one-on-one, not classroom-based
Instruction takes place in a private office setting
Contractor maintains control over instructional methods and materials
This role does not involve classroom management or group instruction
Pay: $5,000.00 - $10,000.00 per month
