Develop long-term supplier partnerships and evaluate suppliers based on technical
capability, sustainability performance, lead time, pricing stability, and compliance.
Lead supplier audits, qualification processes, and periodic performance reviews.
Material Evaluation & Technical Procurement
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to define technical specifications and performance requirements for new materials.
Conduct comparative analysis of materials (cost, durability, environmental impact,
installation feasibility, lifecycle value).
Support pilot trials and scale-up adoption of approved materials into manufacturing and project delivery.
Procurement & Cost Optimization
Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle: forecasting, tendering, negotiation,
contracting, ordering, logistics coordination, and inventory control.
Negotiate pricing and terms to lower total cost of ownership while maintaining quality
and delivery reliability.
Drive cost-reduction initiatives through alternative sourcing, material substitution, and
process optimisation.
Project & Stakeholder Management
Provide procurement leadership for commercial, industrial, and municipal construction
projects.
Align procurement planning with project schedules and risk controls to ensure
uninterrupted production and site installation.
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including operations, designers, site managers, and finance.
Sustainability &Compliance
Ensure procurement practices meet Roskill’s sustainability goals, including reduced
carbon footprint, waste minimisation, and responsible sourcing.
Monitor regulatory standards and industry trends related to sustainable/innovative
construction materials.
Maintain procurement documentation and ensure full compliance with quality, health & safety, and ESG requirements.
Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job
Bachelor’s Degree or above in supply chain, materials science, building materials,
or related fields (Advanced research skills strongly preferred).
Proven ability to apply construction material knowledge into procurement decisions,
including supplier selection, specification setting, and real-project application.
Strong project management capability, able to align sourcing with
construction/manufacturing timelines and control procurement risks.
Excellent supplier negotiation, contract management, and cross-functional
communication skills.
High level of analytical ability for cost–performance modelling and value engineering.
Fluent English communication (written and spoken); bilingual capability is a strong
advantage.
