Our client, a leading global consulting firm is executing a digital procurement transformation for a leading Pharma organisation. The program aims to modernise sourcing, vendor management, and spend optimisation through AI-led decisioning and workflow digitisation.
They are looking for a Procurement specialist to drive transformation design, shape AI use cases, and coordinate execution across business and technology stakeholders. The consultant will partner closely with the consulting team and client CPO organisation to unlock cost efficiency, accelerate decisioning and scale digital procurement capability.
Key Responsibilities :
• Evaluate current procurement processes and identify digital / AI transformation levers
• Design future-state process flows and digital procurement operating model
• Build business cases with impact estimates, KPI frameworks and EBITDA metrics
• Lead PMO governance across client teams, tech implementation partners and vendors
• Support adoption, capability uplift and change management for new tools and workflows
Your Background :
• 5-10 years' experience in Indian Pharma procurement (consulting / industry)
• Strong knowledge of AI-driven procurement tools (Zycus, Tungsten etc. preferred)
• Demonstrated experience in cost reduction, spend analytics and category optimisation
• Engineering background ideal; MBA preferred
• Ability to influence leadership and drive execution in complex environments
Other Information :
• Duration : 12 months (extendable).
• Work model : The engagement is based in Delhi / Mumbai / Ahmedabad.
