The 3-Month Contract Product Analyst will collaborate with Product Managers and Business Operations on the Datalinx Xpress Program. Responsibilities include brainstorming, designing, developing, and executing successful TMX Datalinx products; ensuring client compliance with reporting policies; communicating the product roadmap and offerings to key clients; identifying and interpreting data trends to generate insights for decision-making in sales, operations, pricing, and customer segmentation; preparing reports; and supporting process improvement across Datalinx teams.
Key Accountabilities:
Partner with TMX Datalinx Product Managers and Business Operations team on the Datalinx Xpress Program in brainstorming, designing, developing and executing a strong suite of successful TMX Datalinx products including:
Creating discovery cases through client feedback
Partnering with technical delivery teams
Conduct True Ups working closely with clients to ensure they are compliant with TMX Datalinx Reporting policies
Communicate the Core Product Road Map and current product offerings to key strategic clients
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Generate insights to inform decision making from existing data - e.g., sales, operations pricing, customer segmentation, etc.
Prepare reports based on data & insights
Assist and execute on process improvement opportunities across Datalinx sales, product and operations teams
Must Haves:
Recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Economics, or Finance
Proven skills and experience in quantitative analysis and/or financial engineering skills in financial products and other asset classes including, but not limited to equity financial products
Attention to detail, collaborative, self starter, results oriented
Client-centric with effective communication skills and relationship building
Demonstrated learning agility - able to adapt quickly to changes
Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel
Nice to Haves:
Securities industry experience, including trading, technology and related functions and knowledge of how broker/dealers, buy side firms, traders, analysts, advisors, retail investors and other industry stakeholders utilize products from TMX
Note: Hybrid role, 2 days in Toronto (downtown) office
