Product Designer – Product Engineering
Job Description:
Feasibility Study of new product designs including, Fit and Function Analysis, Child Safety Requirements & Regulations, Material Selection, Manufacturing Feasibility, Assembly Feasibility, Deco Feasibility, Draft and Tooling Feasibility
Design Optimization for Wall thickness, Weight, Rib Designs and Strength, Snaps and Bolting Design, Ultra Sonic Welding Feature Design, Electronics Design, Sink Marks & Moulding defects Analysis, DFMEA, Tooling Ready CAD Preparation, Final Prototype Building, Play value Validation and Testing
Designing of New Toy products in various categories
Be able to independently work on designs
Provide design support for costing, tooling and maintenance work
Will be working in shifts as required
Will be reporting to the Product Engineering Lead
Experience:
5-6 years of experience in Plastic Product Design, Mould Design and Engineering.
Must have market knowledge about various categories of Toys and how they are made.
Must have thorough knowledge about plastic materials and manufacturing processes
Must have hands on experience in CAD Modeling
Must have experience in understanding Engineering drawings, GD & T prepare DFM, BOM, & 2D drawings.
Must have hands-on experience on software such as NX CAD, Solid Works, Fusion 360 etc, Rhino CAD etc.
Must have good communication skills
Qualification:
Diploma / Degree / Masters in Product Design / Mechanical Eng. / Industrial Design or Injection Mould Design
Working Days per week: 06 (Must be ready work extra hours on the need basis; no overtime will be provided)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹650,000.00 per year
