Reporting to the MCO Head of T1D, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of Sanofi while making a significant difference in peoples' lives. The Launch Lead works with cross-functional members in a matrix project structure (including Commercial, Market Access, Medical, Public Affairs, Regulatory etc. and International/Global teams) to prepare a solid strategy for successful a first-in-class therapy in Type 1 Diabetes.

Main responsibilities:

Implementing the Global Launch Excellence Framework at a local level, including defining critical success factors, pre- and post- launch KPIs and timelines for Delay Onset and Early Intervention labels to ensure timely and successful execution of the local launch plan.
Driving the execution of the local launch strategy for of a first-in-class immunology treatment in T1D, partnering with cross-functional team including Medical, Commercial, Public affairs, Market access and Regulatory, to map, align and track core launch activities.
Co-developing a multi-factorial stakeholder engagement strategy, in collaboration with cross-functional teams, to effectively engage a broad ecosystem, including HCPs, KOLs, DOLs, PAGs, governments, payers and scientific societies. Ensuring the strategy reflects each stakeholder’s level of maturity in the evolving T1D paradigm.
Identifying opportunities to enhance screening, monitoring, and infusion readiness, together with Medical. This includes exploring new testing methodologies (e.g., digital healthcare solutions), advocating for screening reimbursement with Market Access, supporting funding initiatives (e.g., sponsorships), and generating local data to demonstrate the screening value proposition.
Mapping the screening and monitoring ecosystem, including centers of excellence, diagnostic labs/companies, EMR companies, telemedicine platforms, registries and referral pathways.
Localising Global messaging to build a compelling narrative around screening and treatment.
Managing the local commercial budget allocated for the launch of the innovative drug, monitoring expenses, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation, and providing regular budget reports to the senior management.
About you

Bachelors degree or similar in business or marketing with additional degree in related field eg; life sciences or medical etc.
7-10 years of experience in Marketing/Sales (incl. development of TA strategy, positioning, development of new disease areas/drug classes etc.)
Experience in delivering launches in new green field therapy areas.
Preferred successful global launch experience in Specialty, Rare disease or Diabetes.
Robust experience with contributing to Global/Local Brand plan.
Experience in developing data-driven solutions, including AI.
Strong planning and PMO skills with the ability to lead, move at pace and simplify large complex programs.
Medical/Market access acumen.
Deep understanding of care pathway operational aspects.
