Job Description
Optum Life sciences is envisioning to build its uber data-driven platform, hosting modern tools and apps to broaden the scope of pharmaceutical research for various market segments with adequate compliance. It has the potential to accelerate clinical research, reach patient segments faster and diagnose drug trends. You, as a technical product manager will be collaborating on the vision and driving the roadmap with an effective backlog to fruition.
What will be relevant and fitting?
• Understanding cloud-based data platforms with recent experience or relevant certifications in cloud platforms like AWS/Azure/Google cloud
• Experience in software development and/or platform technologies
• Ability to elicit, facilitate and document requirements, processes, analysis, etc.
• Hands on Experience in products handling data analytics and AI/ML would be an added advantage.
• Understanding of consumer usage analytics
What will strengthen your role for growth?
• Demonstratable strengths in product management, agile methodologies and stakeholder management as this position demands clear comprehension of issues and ability to negotiate for the appropriate solutions.
• Ability to identify creative opportunities to solve client problems
• Understanding of how data drives clinical and analytic applications
Qualifications - External
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT engineering or related discipline
• Preferably, software development or devops experience before product management stint
• Overall 6 – 10 Years of experience with minimum 3+ years of Product Management experience either as a product analyst or a business analyst or a product owner.
• Solid foundation in SDLC methodologies – Agile and SCRUM
• Good negotiation skills
• Comfortable learning new technology systems
• Positive track record with stakeholder relationships, internal and external
