Full job description
We are looking for a Product Operations Specialist to join our Citylitics team. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in product operations within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will work closely with the Product and the Development teams, aligning and guiding product roadmap decisions while gaining valuable product management experience.


What Will You Accomplish?

Product Roadmap Support:
Assist Product Managers in building and executing the product roadmap, gaining exposure to strategic planning.
Learn to prioritize features based on our framework and manage the product backlog under guidance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with development, design, operations, and marketing teams to understand the product development lifecycle.
Participate in cross-functional meetings and contribute to discussions on product market fit.
Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and learn to analyze market trends.
Learn to synthesize data and present findings in a clear and concise manner.User Feedback and Product
Strategy:
Assist in analyzing and synthesizing feedback from stakeholders, users, and customers to understand how feedback influences product strategy.
Learn to document and organize user feedback.
Agile Development and Testing:
Participate in sprint planning, review, and retrospectives to learn agile development methodologies.
Conduct user acceptance testing, report and validate bugs, and learn to provide constructive feedback.
Documentation and User Stories:
Learn to write effective user stories.
Learn to document effective product specs.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Strong Interest in product management and technology.
Familiarity with basic software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to learn and contribute to a team environment.
Basic understanding of agile methodologies is a plus.
SQL experience and data analysis technical skills are a plus.
