Your New Role

As Product Owner – Social Media, you’ll lead our Social Media Centre of Excellence, transforming social from a support channel into a growth engine and brand amplifier. You’ll own the social media roadmap, ensuring our organic and paid strategies deliver measurable impact and align with our brand objectives while also leading, coaching and inspire a team of specialists to execute with speed creativity and precision. Some responsibilities include:

Building and managing the social media product backlog — prioritising initiatives that maximise awareness, engagement, and consideration;
Ensure brand standards, tone-of-voice, and compliance guardrails are embedded in all social content;
Own social media KPIs and dashboards — measuring brand awareness, engagement, funnel conversion, and ROI;
Embed a test-and-learn framework to drive performance uplift and innovation; and
Coach and inspire the team to push creative boundaries while staying grounded in brand strategy and commercial outcomes.

How do you exceed our expectations?

The idea of being part of our growth is exciting and you want to play a pivotal role in making super simple.
Extensive experience in social media, PR, digital marketing, or brand communications, with leadership experience in managing large-scale campaigns and partnerships.
Deep knowledge of social strategy, platform ecosystems, content formats, influencer marketing, paid optimisation, and ROI analysis.
Experience in highly regulated sectors (financial services, telco, health) desirable.
Strong understanding of paid and organic social media ecosystems;
Familiarity with social publishing, listening, analytics, and governance tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Adobe Analytics, PowerBI).
Ability to translate business objectives into actionable social media initiatives;
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills;
You are balanced in accepting risk in any decision you face. You are curious to understand risk context and choose to speak up as we simplify, learn and grow.
