HCA's Perth Branch has an opportunity for an experienced and motivated Technology Systems Specialist to join our dynamic Fleet Management System team.
Reporting to the National Operations Manager, the core focus for this position will be to plan, coordinate, QA and support the current and future deployments of mining technology systems to our customers.
To be successful in the role, a trade qualification in automotive electrical, electronics or communications technician is essential.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Play a role in the planning, coordination, QA and supporting Mining Systems to our clients in the mining industry
Work with our suppliers to design and procure non-standard bracketry and installation components.
Work with our installation team to install Mining technology Systems to heavy mining equipment, setting and maintaining an OEM level of quality.
Commissioning and QA of mobile mining technology systems
Provide hardware and system upkeep training to customers.
Provisioning of new customers including onboard software installation.
Project documentation to an OEM standard.
Diagnosis of reported issues and accurate database management with resolution reporting
Staying current with your knowledge of the WencoLite and WencoMine FMS and HPMG systems.
To be successful in this role you:
Will have an understanding of networking protocols and technologies (WAN, LAN & Wireless)
Will have a trade qualification in automotive electrical, electronics or communications
Have supervised project hardware installations
Must have the strong level of written and verbal communication skills
