We’re looking for a proactive and driven Production Engineer to lead the charge in optimizing our production operations. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of engineering activities on the manufacturing floor—overseeing the development, enhancement, and streamlining of processes, equipment, and plant operations. You'll play a critical role in driving continuous improvement initiatives that boost efficiency, ensure safety, and maintain the highest quality standards. Skills & Experience
Demonstrated experience of mechanical engineering within a manufacturing environment
Strong experience in Lean manufacturing principles
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods and tool design
Demonstrated experience in quality assurance methods and techniques
Experience in mechatronics will be an added benefit
Key Responsibilities
Analyze manufacturing processes to identify and reduce waste and inefficiencies.
Evaluate processes, equipment, and materials to support scheduling, performance metrics, and financial targets.
Develop and maintain accurate documentation, including flowcharts, time and motion studies, and cycle time analyses.
Plan and manage manufacturing workflows, resources, and facility layouts.
Review engineering designs to ensure manufacturability and identify potential issues early in development.
Optimize production lines, machine operations, and overall facility performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve production delays or operational issues.
Conduct cost analyses and recommend cost-saving measures and process improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and supply chain, to ensure product standards and deadlines are met.
Manage the implementation of new technologies and equipment to enhance operational efficiency.
Support maintenance activities and ensure proper installation, repair, and operation of machinery and tools.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
Experienced with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
2 years of proven experience in a similar role, fresh graduates are also welcome.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Hands-on experience with various types of equipment.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and experience with production management tools (e.g., ERP systems).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
