Position Overview
The Production Executive - Blending is responsible for overseeing and managing the blending operations within the oil, chemical, or lubricants industry. This role involves ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a safe working environment. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience and possess strong leadership and technical skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Blending Operations Management:
• Supervise and coordinate blending activities, including raw material handling, mixing, and packaging, to meet production targets efficiently.
• Optimize blending processes, equipment utilization, and resource allocation to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Implement production schedules and ensure adherence to timelines, adjusting plans as needed to accommodate changing priorities.
• Inventory Management and Logistics:
• Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure availability of raw materials, additives, and packaging materials for blending operations.
• Monitor inventory levels, track material consumption, and coordinate replenishment to avoid production disruptions and stock outs.
• Optimize inventory management practices to minimize waste, reduce carrying costs, and improve inventory turnover ratios.
Qualifications And Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in production management, preferably in the oil, chemical, or lubricants industry with a focus on blending operations.
• Strong understanding of blending processes, equipment, and quality assurance principles.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, environmental compliance, and industry standards applicable to blending operations.
