Job Description
The Production Manager leads the planning, scheduling and execution of all manufacturing operations within the plant. He/she is responsible for cost-effective planning, processing, production and shipping of PCM products.
Jobs & Responsibilities:
Training and development of plant machine centre operators and support staff to create effective teams and efficient shift production.
Converts sales team projections into work orders and schedule the dispatches to meet customer timelines.
Communicates with operation managers to understand order priorities and schedule the production accordingly.
Ensure efficient production scheduling to achieve plant production targets.
Identifies opportunities for cost control and works to implement them with support from Plant Manager.
Focused on ongoing process improvement and ensure the periodic maintenance of the machines in coordination with Plant Manager.
Ensures production is carried out according to high quality standards set forth by the company and operation team.
Managing the inventory along with recording the inwards and outwards.
Promotes a safe working environment at all times.
Reportage of production data, KPI’s etc. to support rolling forecast of sales team.
Operates with transparency and earns trust at all levels through clear communication and actions.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in relevant manufacturing based companies.
Bachelor’s or Associate degree in engineering or related technical field preferred.
Technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment, both mechanical and electrical.
Proficient with MS Office, cloud-based project management applications like Zoho, SAP etc.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
High attention to detail and creative problem solver.
