Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to join our food processing team in Bihar, India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing food production operations, ensuring efficient and quality-driven manufacturing processes.

This role involves overseeing daily production activities, optimizing processes, and maintaining high standards of product quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities :

Production Management :

Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily production activities to meet production targets.

Develop and implement production schedules to optimize efficiency and reduce downtime.

Ensure that production processes are carried out in compliance with company standards and industry regulations.

Quality Control :

Monitor the quality of products throughout the production process to ensure consistency and compliance with specifications.

Work closely with the quality control team to address any issues and implement corrective actions as needed.

Team Leadership :

Supervise and lead a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and support.

Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement among staff.

Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.

Process Optimization :

Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.

Implement best practices in production techniques and monitor their effectiveness.

Troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions to minimize disruptions.

Safety and Compliance :

Ensure all production activities comply with local, national, and international food safety regulations.

Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular safety audits.

Inventory and Resource Management :

Manage inventory levels of raw materials, packaging, and other production supplies to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and manage relationships with vendors.

Reporting and Documentation :

Maintain accurate production records, including daily output, waste, and quality reports.

Prepare and present production reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
