Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with design team to ensure quality and accuracy of designs.
• Monitor production process to ensure efficient and timely completion of jewelry pieces.
• Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Develop and maintain production schedules.
• Establish and monitor quality control standards.
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Maintain records of production and inventory levels.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Scope of the Role:
• General business operations.
• Production planning, scheduling, and control.
• Quality control and technical troubleshooting.
• Assessing project and resource requirements.
• Tracking and monitoring the production process, setting benchmarks with optimum resource utilization.
• Developing processes for data collection, analysis, and implementation of new methods.
• Monitoring productivity, rejection levels, and reviewing action plans, shop vital objectives, cost per gram (overall & department-wise), shift plans, and days of gold stock.
Key Deliverables:
• EMD Hygiene - Ensure production as per deadlines.
• Quality - Ensure production adherence to approved quality standards, devising SOPs for effective control.
• Gold loss control management - Collection, refining, and recovery.
• Output quality, quantity, and cost management.
• Manpower - Recruitment, training, and efficiency.
Skill Requirements:
• Experience: 5+ years as a Production Manager.
• Expertise in jewelry production - Gold, diamonds, gemstones.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective team management and team building.
• Strong computer skills.
• Knowledge of jewelry manufacturing processes and techniques.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
