Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager in women's ethnic wear brand with over 7+ years of experience, specifically in wholesale manufacturing within the women’s ethnic fashion wear industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process, from design to final delivery, ensuring that garments such as lehengas, cholis, and other ethnic wear are produced efficiently, on time, and within budget. This role demands strong leadership, expertise in managing karigars, and a deep understanding of traditional and modern garment manufacturing techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
• Production Planning & Execution: Oversee the end-to-end production process for ethnic fashion wear, including lehengas, cholis, and other garments, ensuring that production targets, deadlines, and quality standards are consistently met.
• Wholesale Manufacturing: Manage and streamline wholesale garment production operations, with a focus on ethnic wear, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency in large-scale manufacturing.
• Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels by managing raw materials such as fabrics, dyes, and embroidery supplies, ensuring timely procurement and minimizing waste.
• Quality Control (QC): Implement and oversee stringent quality control measures throughout the production process, ensuring that all garments meet the highest standards of craftsmanship, including hand and machine embroidery, dyeing, and stitching.
• Karigar Management: Lead and manage teams of skilled karigars, ensuring that their work aligns with production schedules, quality requirements, and design specifications.
• Costing & Budget Management: Monitor and manage production costs, including materials, labor, and overhead, to ensure that production stays within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Process Improvement: Continuously assess and refine production processes, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve the quality of finished products.
• Vendor & Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring that all materials and services meet the company’s quality and cost standards.
• Dyeing & Stitching Oversight: Supervise the dyeing and stitching processes, ensuring color consistency, fabric quality, and adherence to design specifications.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure that all production activities comply with industry regulations and safety standards, maintaining a safe and compliant working environment.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, Business Management, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in garment production management, with specific expertise in wholesale manufacturing of ethnic fashion wear.
• Proven experience in managing the production of lehengas, cholis, and other ethnic garments, including hand embroidery, dyeing, and stitching.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams of karigars and production staff.
• Deep understanding of inventory management, quality control, and cost management within the ethnic wear segment.
• Proficiency in production management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in sustainable and eco-friendly manufacturing practices, particularly in ethnic fashion wear.
• Knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in garment production, especially in hand embroidery and ethnic wear.
