As the leader of our plant operations, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production, ensuring alignment with business goals, and driving strategic initiatives focused on operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily plant operations to meet production targets and business objectives.
• Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
• Develop and implement production plans to drive efficiency and growth.
• Maintain required production volume while ensuring flexibility and quality.
• Minimize downtime by optimizing manufacturing processes and implementing lean practices.
• Manage operational costs, monitor raw material usage, and reduce wastage.
• Oversee budgets (CAPEX, OPEX) and ensure strong financial performance (EBITDA).
• Implement cost-saving initiatives and drive process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with FSSAI, ISO, GMP, EHS, and other statutory regulations.
• Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Production, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 15+ years of experience in plant operations, preferably in the FMCG sector.
• Minimum 4 years in a plant leadership role.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in lean manufacturing, quality systems, and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and operational analytics.
• Preferred Candidate Characteristics:
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving business results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
