The Role
Join our committed team at our Livingston site, where we specialize in producing premium fish products exclusively for Waitrose. We are dedicated to quality and excellence, delivering the finest seafood to our customers. As a Production Operative, you will be crucial in upholding our high standards, working in a dynamic and ever-evolving environment.
Pay: Starting from £11.60 per hour, depending on the role
Shift: Monday to Friday, either 6:00 am - 2:00 pm or 6:30 am - 2:30 pm

Key Accountabilities
• Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure consistent and high-quality production.
• Follow standardised recipes and production schedules to meet daily output targets.
• Perform quality checks at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Report any deviations or issues to the Process Leader
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organised work environment.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving minor equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and report any safety hazards or concerns.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Skills And Experience Required
• Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment would offer you a strong advantage.
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Willingness to work in different areas of the factory as required.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing production needs.
