Location: Melbourne - North
Reporting to the Shift Foreman, you will be involved in the monitoring and running of machines that turn recycled materials into paper ensuring efficiency and quality.
What You Will Do:
Operate and monitor the paper machine and equipment to meet safety, quality and production targets
Carry out regular maintenance and ensure machinery runs at peak performance
Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping and environmental compliance
Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
What You Will Bring to the Team:
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to solve problems.
Solid experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Strong mechanical aptitude — trade or technical qualifications a big plus
HNC Paper Technology highly regarded
Able to work a 12-hour rotating roster (4 on, 4 of – 2 days, 2 nights)
Forklift experience desirable
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
