Job Title: Production Planning and Control Operations Executive
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
Experience: 5 to 6 Years Proven experience in production planning and control within the electronics manufacturing sector.
Location: Sasewadi, Pune
Job Summary:
The Production Planning and Control Operations Executive will oversee the planning, scheduling, and control of production processes in an electronic manufacturing environment, primarily focused on LED lights, displays, modules, and power supplies. This role is critical for ensuring efficient operations that meet customer demands while optimizing resource utilization.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Planning:
Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, engineering, supply chain) to ensure alignment with production goals.
Material Management:
Support material planning and procurement processes to ensure the timely availability of components
Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock.
Production Control:
Oversee shop floor control processes to ensure production efficiency and quality compliance.
Address production issues promptly, including material shortages and machinery breakdowns.
Data Analysis:
Analyse production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Prepare reports on production performance metrics for management review.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations throughout the production process
Collaborate with quality control teams to resolve any product quality issues.
Continuous Improvement:
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity and reducing costs.
Implement best practices in production planning and control methodologies.
Skills:
o Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and production planning software.
o Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
o Effective communication skills for collaboration across various departments.
Additional Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and practices.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
