A Production Planning and Control (PPC) Engineer for Machining Division, who is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the manufacturing process to ensure efficient production. Their duties include:
-Production Scheduling : Creating and managing detailed production schedules to meet customer demands while minimizing downtime.
- Resource Management : Ensuring that materials, equipment, and labor are efficiently allocated and available to meet production targets.
- Process Improvement : Analysing production processes to identify and resolve bottlenecks, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
- Coordination: Working closely with departments like procurement, engineering, and quality control to ensure seamless production operations.
- Data Analysis: Monitoring production metrics, generating reports, and using data to make informed decisions and improve production outcomes.
- Quality Assurance: Collaborating with quality control teams to ensure products meet required specifications and standards.
