Position Overview:

The PPIC Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the production planning and inventory control processes to ensure efficient and effective operations. This role involves coordinating production schedules, managing inventory levels, and optimizing the supply chain to meet production goals while minimizing costs and ensuring high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Production Planning:
Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize production efficiency.
Coordinate with various departments, including procurement, manufacturing, and logistics, to align production plans with operational capabilities.
Monitor production performance and adjust schedules as necessary to address any delays or issues.
Inventory Control:
Manage inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock to meet production requirements while minimizing excess inventory and obsolescence.
Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to track stock levels, orders, and deliveries.
Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory records.
Supply Chain Coordination:
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components.
Monitor supply chain performance and address any issues related to procurement, delivery, or quality.
Analyze supply chain data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze production and inventory data to identify trends, forecast future needs, and make informed decisions.
Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics to senior management.
Process Improvement:
Continuously evaluate and improve production planning and inventory control processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Implement best practices and industry standards to optimize operations and reduce waste.
Team Management:
Lead and mentor a team of production planners and inventory controllers.
Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, providing training and support as needed.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in supply chain management,Material Management Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A masters degree or relevant certification (e.g., APICS) is a plus.
5+ years of experience in production planning, inventory control, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of production planning and inventory management principles and practices.
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and manage a team.
