Job Description
Key Responsibilities
• Production Planning: Develop and manage detailed production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization and minimizing downtime.
• Inventory Control: Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods, ensuring timely procurement and minimal wastage.
• Coordination: Collaborate with production, procurement, and quality assurance teams to ensure alignment of production schedules with material availability and quality standards.
• Demand Forecasting: Analyze sales forecasts and historical data to predict production requirements and adjust planning accordingly.
• Supply Chain Management: Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the timely delivery of raw materials and components required for production.
• Data Analysis: Track production performance, inventory levels, and material usage, providing regular reports and insights to management.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain performance.
• Compliance: Ensure all planning and inventory activities comply with regulatory standards and company policies, particularly in the pharmaceutical sector.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production schedules, inventory levels, and related documentation for audit and review purposes.
Key Requirements
Educational Background:
• Bachelor's degree in Science (B.Sc) or Pharmacy Minimum of 2 years of experience in production planning and inventory control, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
Technical Skills
• Proficiency in inventory management and production planning software (e.g., SAP, ERP systems).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to forecast demand and plan production accordingly.
• Knowledge of supply chain management, procurement processes, and vendor management.
Soft Skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
