Job Description
Responsibilities:
· Inputs data into the Visual ERP system for the preparation of the routings for the manufacturing and quality instructions.
· Shall ensure that all the required documentation for the quality process is completed and reviewed (ie – Fabrication and extrusion audit sheets)
· Participates in customer problem resolution, with quality assurance, ensuring customer satisfaction. This may include customer visitation
· With input from other departments the incumbent assists in resolving problems relating to customer quality issues and/or on-time issues and follows up on corrective actions.
· Shall perform quality checks as required determining if goods produced are within the set parameters
· May assist in the performance supplier evaluation.
· Maintains a follow-up program on all ongoing customer orders ensuring timely completion
· Responsible inventories, inventory transactions and routine cycle counts
· Interfacing with customers as needed.
· Audit the closing of production orders and Labour. Both Chatham and Kentucky Sites.
Skills and Qualifications: Education/Experience Requirements:
Proficiency with Microsoft tools (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Possesses excellent organizational, problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent time management skills required
Must be a self-starter and be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Master Production Scheduling concepts, tools and processes within a computerized ERP (Infor Visual) environment
Successful completion of post-secondary in manufacturing processes or a related area
1-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment
ERP Management System experience would be an asset.
Knowledge of Aluminum Extrusion would be an asset
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $44,421.78-$78,681.43 per year

8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
