Job Description
A globally recognised automotive manufacturer are currently looking to strengthen their Production department with the appointment of a Production Supervisor to work a three shift pattern (6am – 2pm/2pm-10pm/10pm-6am)
As Production Supervisor you will be responsible for supervision of production on site, ensuring a safe working environment and satisfying all customer demands.
The Production Supervisor will be responsible for:
• Guarantee a safe working environment
• Ensure all production processes conform to current quality standards
• Manufacture quality parts in time to satisfy customer demand
• Improve production processes and lead improvement teams
• Lead root cause analysis of non-conforming production and implement corrective actions
• Daily organisation Team Leaders and Operators
• Complete performance reviews to improve team performance and flexibility
• Lead team performance via KPI’s and OEE to achieve targets
• Out of hours contact with Customers
• Promote the companies HSE policies across the department and plant and adhere to all
• Health and Safety environmental requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following skillset and qualifications:
• Management experience in the automotive sector (or any other manufacturing sector)
• ILM Level 3 Management.
• Knowledge of 5s.
