Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production teams, ensuring quality standards are met, and optimizing production processes. This role requires strong leadership skills, a focus on safety, and the ability to drive continuous improvement within the production environment.
Duties
1. Responsible for the daily operations of the production floor.
2. Assign team members to designated machines.
3. Work with management to determine which machines are priority.
4. Lead multiple machines on the production floor and operate machinery as needed.
5. Oversee all team members on the production floor, and grading tables.
6. Ensure production schedule is adhered to and completed accurately.
7. Monitor product flow to ensure continuous operations without delay or lost time.
Lead and motivate a team of production workers to achieve operational goals.
Experience
Minimum 1-2 years proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment.
Press set up & run experience and asset.
Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices
Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
Proficient in MS Office and inventory management software systems
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear reporting and team collaboration.
Must be mechanically inclined and have hands-on experience in the operation of and troubleshooting/diagnosing mechanical failures in a production environment
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on performance metrics.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand on feet for majority of the working day
