Production Supervisor DME Company

Location: Shinoli, Belgaum

Education: BE / DME - Mechanical (4-5 years exp.)

Job Description:

 Effective utilization of people and machinery to achieve production targets.

 Handling of machining centers like VMCs and HMCs and conventional machines.

 Manage work force and achieve the targeted output.

 Achieving desired quality in manufacturing processes and products.

 Maintain good housekeeping on the production floor.

 Troubleshooting in day-to-day production activities.

 Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees

 Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules

 Supervise and guide employees

 Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance

 Check production output according to specifications

 Submit reports on performance and progress Candidate Profile:

 Graduate in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institute or DME as stated above.

 Hands-on experience in operating CNC machines.

 Should be able to understand CNC programs and able to make alterations/modifications in

 Hands-on experience in handling all types of inspection instruments.

 Should have handled precision and complex manufacturing products.

 Should have good knowledge of cutting tools used in CNC machining centers.

 Exposure to lean principles like TPM, 5S, etc would be an added advantage.

 Exposure in any kind of maintenance would be an added advantage.

 Should be able to attend duty in shifts.

 Should have computing skills including MS OƯice, E-drawing, AutoCAD  Good interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role

 Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery VMC, HMC, and Convectional machines and tools

 Organizational and leadership abilities

 Communication and interpersonal skills

 Self-motivated with a results-driven approach

 Problem-solving skills

 Basic programming and code knowledge.
