About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined individual to join our team as a Production Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment, ensuring quality standards are met, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. Your expertise in machine operation and problem-solving will directly contribute to our production goals.
Responsibilities
Operate machinery safely and efficiently, consistently meeting or exceeding production standards.
Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions through careful adjustments and repairs.
Implement innovative solutions to enhance production efficiency and quality.
Conduct thorough inspections of products, identifying defects and making necessary machine adjustments.
Maintain accurate records of production data, including crewing time, machine time, and output quantities.
Adhere to all safety protocols, housekeeping standards, and work guidelines.
Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment through adherence to established procedures.
Qualifications
Required Skills
Minimum of one year of manufacturing or industrial experience working with production equipment.
Proven mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to operate machines safely and efficiently, meeting production standards.
Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting and machine adjustments.
Preferred Skills
Experience with plastic extrusion, injection molding, thermoforming, or blow molding.
Familiarity with tool/die/mold setup procedures.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
