Job Description
This position is Backshift, starting 1415-2230, the position requires a keen eye for detail, this vacancy comes with a start wage of £13.80 (1.25x uplift after +pm).
The person must be physically fit as some lifting and bending is required, we offer training for progressing into machine setting.
This is a family run business with a good mix of staff, some of over 15 years.
Summary
As a Production Worker (Machine setter) Backshift, you will be a vital part of our team, contributing to the efficient operation of our food production processes. Your core skills in food production will be essential in ensuring the quality and timely production of goods. . Your relevant skills in mechanical knowledge and basic maths will enable you to effectively set up and operate machinery. Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production machinery during backshift to ensure efficient production.
- Set up machines according to production requirements and quality standards.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure machines are running smoothly and troubleshoot any issues.
- Adhere to HACCP and food safety guidelines to maintain product quality and safety.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to make adjustments and minor repairs as needed.
- Apply basic math skills for measurements and calculations in the production process.
