Overview
Merrick & Company is looking for a Project Accountant to join our team at our company headquarters in Greenwood Village, Colorado.

Typical annual pay range for this position is $25.00/hr. - $30.00/hr. Pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge, skills, and experience.
What You'll Do
Project Support:
• Set up and revise projects in Merrick’s financial system (Deltek Costpoint).
• Prepare client invoices, monitor unbilled amounts and be able to explain non-current amounts.
• Demonstrate competence in various accounting software applications, both internal & external client software.
• File and organize contracts, modifications, and change orders.
• Reconcile jobs to close out.
• Serve as liaison between Clients, Project Managers, and Finance & Accounting team as needed.
Project Cost
• Knowledge of project cost accounting principles.
• Experience and knowledge of federal government billing and rate adjustment process is a plus.
Required Qualifications
• Associate's or bachelor’s degree is preferred or minimum prior experience in a project accounting/similar financial industry role.
• Client projects for this position require US Citizenship.
• Employment for this position is dependent upon the successful completion of a credit check
