Job Description
This position requires working on a project site in North Vancouver; local candidates preferred.
As a(n) Project Accountant for our Edmonton Industrial Management office, you will contribute to our team by performing ongoing project accounting to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, supporting the efficient and effective financial management of a large-scale industrial construction project in Northern Vancouver.
Responsibilities
Assemble client billing packages in accordance with contract terms and conditions; follow up to ensure timely payment.
Reconcile and process all project-related accounts payable, general expenditures, and internal costing allocations in a timely and accurate manner in order to meet all contract terms, and PCL policy and procedures.
Participate in monthly forecast review meetings for assigned projects to provide input on project reconciliations and project financial status.
Ensure that all required documentation, including insurance, bonding, WCB, and statutory declarations are in place.
Review and analyze monthly contract reports to ensure accuracy of cash flow, profit recognition, and ledger balance.
Effectively communicates with internal and external stakeholders, as required.
Develops and maintains strong customer focused relationships with all stakeholders.
Assist with ad-hoc reports/analysis, internal/external audits, and year-end procedures as assigned.
