Job Description
As a Project Architect, you will play an essential role in supporting the design and execution of architectural projects from inception to completion. Working closely under the guidance of a Senior Associate, Associate Director or Principal, you will contribute to project development and implementation. Collaborating with clients, stakeholders, and project teams, you will help translate creative visions into practical and sustainable architectural solutions.
Responsibilities:
Design Development: Contribute to the design development process, including conceptualisation, schematic design, and design documentation.
Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, budgetary constraints, and timelines.
Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout all project phases, from initial planning to construction administration.
Client Communication: Assist as a point of contact for clients, maintaining effective communication and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Architectural Project Management: Manage and run large-scale or multiple small projects with support from junior staff, ensuring smooth workflow and task coordination.
What you will bring to the team
10 years of studio experience in architecture in Australia. (must have)
Degree or diploma in Architecture (must have)
Revit proficiency – 2 years minimum (must have)
Thorough understanding of NCC and Australian Standards (Must Have)
Experience in developing and managing client relationships.
Experience in delivering multi-residential/Class 2/3 buildings
Architect registration and D&BP registration is preferred but not required
Experience in seniors living industry is a plus
