In this dynamic role, you will:
• Assist with projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with the technical requirements of customer contracts.
• Perform clerical and administrative support tasks, including the review, preparation, development, and modification of reports and documentation for various projects according to Serco policies.
• Support Project Managers by drafting purchase requisition forms and statement of work documentation for obtaining subcontract quotes, and assist with audits concerning purchase cards, timecards, and employee benefits.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews on project work.
• Prepare comprehensive memoranda, reports, and documentation that highlight project progress and status for daily and weekly meetings with customers.
• Attend meetings, documenting action items, producing minutes, and creating presentations on project status and commitments.
• Evaluate and implement procedures regarding project documentation and development.
• Engage in long-range planning, analysis, and program design efforts.
• Contribute to the planning and design of new projects as needed.
• Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational abilities, and the capacity to handle confidential information.
• Other assigned duties may arise based on project needs.
To thrive in this role, you will need:
• To be eligible to obtain and maintain an active DoW (Dept of War) Secret Clearance, requiring US Citizenship.
• A Bachelor’s degree; 0 to 2 years of relevant work experience is preferred, or an additional 1 to 4 years of experience may substitute for the degree.
• 1 to 2 years of experience managing schedules and customer expectations as related to the job description.
• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision and exert significant independent judgment while working remotely.
• A strong capability to multitask, pay attention to detail, and manage time effectively.
Desired Experience and Skills:
• A current DoD Secret Level Security Clearance is a plus.
• Demonstrated excellent customer service skills.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); knowledge of MS Project is advantageous.
• 1 to 2 years of experience working with SharePoint.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly.
