About the opportunity
An exciting opportunity is available for a Project Coordinator to join the Program Management Office (PMO) within Government Shared Services.
This role supports the delivery of key transformation initiatives, including the growth and optimisation of myWork Zone. The position provides valuable exposure to governance, reporting, and workforce coordination activities within a large, complex delivery environment.
About the role
Reporting to the Manager Governance and Performance, the Project Coordinator supports major program delivery through coordinated governance, reporting, and administrative activities across multiple workstreams.
The role also supports governance forums and workforce coordination activities such as onboarding, offboarding and recruitment support.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build or further develop their experience in a fast-paced PMO environment supporting senior stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
Support governance and reporting activities across the program
Support major program governance forums as required
Prepare reporting, briefing materials and documentation for internal and external stakeholders
Maintain reporting artefacts, trackers, registers and dashboards
Support workforce coordination activities, including onboarding and offboarding
Assist with recruitment-related coordination and administration
Maintain accurate records and ensure data quality and integrity
Respond to enquiries in a timely manner while managing competing priorities
About you
Strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
High attention to detail, particularly in reporting, documentation and record-keeping
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience in a PMO environment (desirable)
Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders
Proactive, adaptable and willing to learn in a complex delivery environment
