A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
A minimum of 3+ years of proven experience in an accounting role, preferably within the engineering industry
Proficiency in accounting software, ERP (Deltek-Costpoint) systems, and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced knowledge of Excel
Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices (GAAP)
Experience with general ledger functions, month-end/year-end close processes, and forecasting
Excellent numerical skills with an attention to detail
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility

Responsibilities
As a member of our finance team, you will be responsible for maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts
You will prepare and analyze budgets, perform general bookkeeping, and manage all financial transactions from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets
You will also be expected to improve our current accounting procedures and control systems
Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Perform general bookkeeping duties, including posting information to accounting software and regularly reconciling accounts
Manage the full cycle of accounting activities for the company, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and monthly/year-end close processes
Perform regular, detailed audits to ensure accuracy in financial documents, expenditures, and investments
Forecast revenue and analyze profit margins
Oversee the preparation and management of company budgets
Implement and adhere to company's accounting policies and procedures
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports

As a member of our finance team, you will be responsible for maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts. You will prepare and analyze budgets, perform general bookkeeping, and manage all financial transactions from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.
