Join our Downer Professional Services team and express your interest in future opportunities within our System Engineering stream. We are seeking to engage skilled professionals with Defence or Defence industry experience to join our permanent workforce and support complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australia’s future.
Downer Professional Services is comprised of two business units, our Technical, Advisory, and Capability consulting practice and Team Downer, a major service partner to Defence. Together, we are a multi-disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for our clients in Defence and National Security.

What You’ll Bring
Previous experience ideally within the Defence or consulting services industries.
Proven experience working in Land, Communications, Navy, Space or other Defence sectors
Strong experience delivering or supporting complex Defence Acquisition or Sustainment projects within CASG
Experience supporting or delivering end to end projects and managing various facets of a project
Experience working with project management tools and project management certifications and accreditations will be highly preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills and stakeholder management across different teams
Due to the nature of the work, you are required to currently hold and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 or higher Security clearance as required by the Commonwealth. In some instances, compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements may also be an inherent requirement.

What You’ll Bring
