Work you'll do
As a Specialist Leader in the GPS HST Technology group, you will:
Support Implementation and Operations Management best practices while taking ownership of tasks and/or project workstreams and guiding more junior professionals
Support and/or lead workstreams on engagements related, but not limited, to Systems Implementation, Operations & Maintenance, Helpdesk Operations and Software Application Development & Maintenance
Contribute to deliverables and review the work of others for quality and accuracy
Demonstrate an understanding of the client environment and overall project scope
Responsible for the client and team management including value creation activities
Understand and evaluate business requirements and apply Integrated Eligibility solution lens to come up with technical designs and solutions
Propose, Discuss, obtain client approvals and implement Azure infrastructure components
Manage release management and infrastructure maintenance aspects for solutions
Perform FinOPS assessments for Azure and AWS infrastructure; Advise clients on cost optimizations
Lead technology upgrades, security/vulnerability assessment and fixes, performance optimizations
Evaluate and bring in more Deloitte assets/transfer solutions based on new scope items
Qualifications
Required:
15+ years of consulting and/or industry experience
Current state public assistance system experience that supports eligibility and benefits determination and case management
Experience supporting State client(s) in one or more of the following areas: eligibility determination, benefits calculation, benefits issuance, and/or information management.
Local to Los Angeles
Bachelor's degree
Ability to travel 0 - 20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $151,800 to $253,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
