About the Role: Our client is seeking a skilled Delivery Manager to lead small teams in developing plans and schedules, ensuring project/work packages deliver value aligned with the client's methodologies and business needs.
The ideal candidate will have 5 years' experience in managing ICT projects to deliver on time, cost, quality, and scope. They will be able to foster team culture, provide clear direction, effectively oversee tasks, and coach to build high performance. Exceptional stakeholder management skills are also required, with the ability to build strategic relationships and manage expectations across varied stakeholder groups.
About the Client: Our client is an independent Federal agency responsible for organising, conducting and supervising Australian elections. They are looking for a seasoned professional who can help them achieve their goals through effective project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage allocated program/project resources to execute deliverables on time, within budget, and to a high quality against scope.
Prepare a project delivery plan aligned with the project/program delivery framework, ensuring the project's critical path is maintained.
Communicate delivery status with peers and client executives in Agile ceremonies and governance forums.
Identify and resolve issues and dependencies, help remove impediments, and mitigate/manage risk within agreed tolerances.
Requirements:
5 years' experience in managing ICT projects to deliver on time, cost, quality, and scope.
Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strategic relationships and manage expectations across varied stakeholder groups.
Tertiary qualifications or industry-recognised certification in Management, Project Management, or a similar field (desired).
Demonstrated work experience managing/delivering large-scale ICT transformation programs/projects in an Australian Government setting (desired).
