Job Description
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage interior design projects from initiation to closeout, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
Collaborate with clients, architects, designers, and subcontractors to define project requirements, goals, and deliverables.
Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in coordination with the project team, and track progress against established milestones.
Provide leadership and direction to project teams, including designers, contractors, and vendors, to ensure successful project execution.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with design specifications and client expectations.
Review and approve design drawings, materials, and finishes to ensure alignment with project requirements and industry standards.
Manage procurement activities, including sourcing materials, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships to secure competitive pricing and timely delivery.
Monitor project finances, including budget allocations, expenditures, and change orders, to maintain profitability and control costs.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and management, to provide project updates, address concerns, and manage expectations.
Conduct post-project reviews and evaluations to identify lessons learned and opportunities for process improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
Proven experience managing interior design projects, preferably in commercial, hospitality, or residential sectors.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams to achieve project goals.
Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent).
Knowledge of interior design principles, materials, finishes, and construction techniques.
