The Opportunity

As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the successful delivery of commercial millwork projects from kickoff through completion. Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, you will lead project planning, coordination, budgeting, and execution—ensuring timelines, quality standards, and financial targets are consistently achieved.

This is a high-impact role suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and enjoys balancing client relationships with technical project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Execution

Manage multiple projects end-to-end, from initial planning through to final delivery
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules aligned with materials, production, and site readiness
Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect timelines and budgets
Lead project kickoff meetings and ongoing coordination with drafting, production, and installation teams
Client & Stakeholder Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
Build strong relationships through site visits, design meetings, and ongoing communication
Represent Executive Millwork professionally with clients, suppliers, and partners
Technical & Production Coordination

Review and interpret architectural drawings and oversee shop drawing development
Optimize designs for efficient, high-quality production
Take accurate site measurements and identify site constraints impacting project delivery
Financial & Commercial Oversight

Manage project budgets, job costs, and financial performance
Track and document change orders, progress billing, and invoicing
Coordinate with accounting and resolve billing discrepancies as needed
Procurement & Materials

Complete detailed material take-offs and coordinate procurement timelines
Collaborate with purchasing to ensure materials align with production schedules
Monitor cost variances and escalate risks proactively
Operational Excellence

Ensure all work complies with contract documents, specifications, and applicable codes
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across projects and processes
Provide regular project updates to leadership on progress, risks, and client expectations
Qualifications & Experience

Required

5+ years of project management experience in commercial millwork, construction, or related industry
Proven experience managing projects with budgets of $1M+
Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and blueprints
Experience managing schedules, budgets, and multiple stakeholders simultaneously
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
Preferred

Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Innergy) or project management software
Advanced drafting/design experience
Exposure to lean manufacturing or production optimization
