IT Project Manager - 3-Month Contract
Location: Western Greater Sydney Metropolitan Area.
The role requires onsite working for the first few weeks with the option of hybrid working thereafter.
Contract Duration: 3 Months.
Daily Rate: $500 - $550 + Super.
Hours: 35 hours per week, 7 hours per day.
About the Role:
An exciting day-rate contract opportunity for a Project Manager to join a public sector organisation on a 3-month contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires good financial acumen, excellent scheduling skills, and the ability to manage and coordinate vendor relationships effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the delivery of IT projects from initiation to completion.
Establish and maintain a comprehensive project plan.
Manage project schedules and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
Handle vendor management and maintain strong vendor relationships.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure project alignment with organisational goals.
Monitor project budgets and ensure financial targets are met.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Project Manager on IT projects.
Strong financial acumen and budgeting skills.
Excellent scheduling and time management abilities.
Demonstrated experience in vendor management and relationship building.
Ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
