Job Description
We’re looking for a motivated Property Manager to drive operational excellence across a 5M sq. ft. suburban office, industrial, and open air retail portfolio, with significant opportunity to expand your impact!
RESPONSIBILITIES
People Management
Build and maintain strong working relationships with tenants, staff, and vendors.
Address tenant inquiries promptly and effectively with clear, consistent communication.
Provide hands on leadership by mentoring, developing, and motivating staff to deliver excellent service.
Finance + Budgeting
Develop and manage operating and capital budgets, providing accurate reporting and forecasting.
Drive financial performance by monitoring results and proactively addressing variances.
Oversee capital project planning and execution in partnership with the Construction and Technical Services teams to ensure disciplined planning, cost control, and on time delivery.
Administration + Reporting
Oversee portfolio reporting, compliance, and policy governance, ensuring alignment with corporate, environmental, and health & safety standards while leading lease administration and maintaining operational procedures.
Operations
Oversee building operations by conducting annual inspections and ensuring timely resolution of all identified items.
Maintain strong tenant satisfaction by responding to operational issues quickly and effectively.
Support the rollout of new programs and provide clarity on operational policies and procedures.
Advance environmental and sustainability efforts by identifying opportunities to reduce the portfolio’s carbon footprint.
Collaborate on tenant engagement events and BOMA initiatives.
Perform additional operational duties and special projects as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of experience as a commercial property manager with direct reports
5+ years of experience in commercial property management
Experience managing a variety of operating and capital budgets
Proven organizational skills that enable effective and efficient delivery while tenant and client needs evolve
Professional, flexible, and collaborative nature
RPA designation preferred + post-secondary education
The base salary for this position is between $65,800.00 to109,700.00 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
